Human Revolution was really fun to play and a lot longer game but never got boring or repetitive but this game is no where near as good. Notice that I played through it twice so I gave it every opportunity to win me over but it just didn't happen. The game is a grind and no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't wring out any fun from it. There is one level of this game lifted right out of Assassin's Creed. Nothing was fun and there is so much forced replay it is insulting.

By the end of my game plus play through I had upgraded everything and it didn't make any difference because the power drains away so quickly that the powers are virtually useless. I love the character Adam Jensen but every one else in the game feels hollow and bland. Nothing I was really excited to play this game and really wanted to love it but the more I played it the less I liked it. I was really excited to play this game and really wanted to love it but the more I played it the less I liked it. It's like stepping into the Matrix universe (the good one, not garbage Zion) and kicking ass and taking names while uncovering crazy conspiracy plot lines. In conclusion this is the best shooter RPG game I've played since Fallout 4 took over my gaming life and if you enjoy that type of game Deus Ex provides a really fresh take on the genre. Plus the stealth augmentations are just plain cool and turning on your stealth field to get the jump on someone and taking them down with the one hitter quitter NEVER EVER gets old. The enemy AI is hit and miss but they're smart with grenades and generally overwhelm you with numbers. While you DON'T have to take the stealth route, some of the levels are extremely hard if you try to shoot it out with everyone.

You really feel like an augmented detective/assassin and just learning how to operate within the confines of the game world is a real pleasure. They somehow managed to make the quest for information a main focus in the game and it's so fun to explore for laptops to hack and to find random bits of info on the enemy you just knocked the F out. It all really fits into this world they built and nothing is out of place. The gameplay and atmosphere are some of the best I've encountered this year.

But Mankind Divided is a full realization of their vision for a new Deus Ex and it really shines overall. You could tell they had to cut corners on certain aspects of the game. The gameplay and atmosphere are While I enjoyed the last game, Human Revolution, I felt that the developers didn't quite have the horsepower and technology available on Xbox 360 to really do what they wanted. Have fun doing something next to one for 5 minutes. Oh and the pedestrians repeat their same lines. But it's so graphically inconsistent I don't know how to diatribe it. I give this game 6/10 because I know it tried. This game is great until the glitches start happening at the worst moments, like trying to hack a drone before it spots you.

I played it so much because I'm a huge Deus fan, but this is beyond acceptable. You can tell when it happens because the frames start dropping to a snail. At first I thought it was at certain times. And let me tell you, I have had to reset my Xbox at least 10 times due to it crashing. This game is great until the glitches start I have beaten the game 4 times now.
